Want a giant Yorkshire pudding? get down to the Cross Keys in Leeds; it’s so popular that you’re going to have to book a table in advance. This cosy pub is complete with a wood burning stove so perfect for this time of year. The food is seasonal and ethically produced and where possible ingredients are locally sourced. There’s no doubt you’re getting a proper Yorkshire roast at the Cross Keys.
Crafthouse, Leeds Trinity
The Crafthouse will suit every occasion but they have something special up their sleeve on their Sunday menu.
You can indulge in one of their free flow offers, for £15 per person you can get free-flowing red wine or prosecco. This offer is only good for an hour and a half for obvious reasons but we think its s great idea. The Yorkshire puddings are super-sized and there is the obligatory sticky toffee pudding on the dessert menu for afters.
The New Conservatory, Leeds City Centre
The New Conservatory has a great vibe, and Sunday roasts are only £10. You get a lot of bang for your buck because this Sunday roast is all homemade. You can also have all three meat options for just £2.95 extra! Not only that but you get roasts spuds, creamy mash, seasonal veg, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire pud and gravy! Sounds amazing but we are going to need to be carried home.
Gaucho, Leeds City Centre
If you’re feeling like indulging then Gaucho is the place for you, with its chic modern Argentinian interiors it certainly makes a statement. This roast is generous; it’s a two-course affair for £24.50 with either the choice of starters or puddings. It’s served on a wooden board with lashings of gravy, because who doesn’t want gravy?
