5 Must Try Cafes in Headingley

Known for its long list of charity shops, trendy bars and ever growing student population, it seems only fitting that there is a magnitude of quirky cafes to finish off Headingley’s high street line up. Manning Stainton

Sebbys Cafe Deli


It seems only appropriate to start towards the top of Otley Road; Sebby’s Café Deli is a quirky café serving fresh food without compromise.  Opening its door in 2011, Sebby’s has become a hit with the locals of Far Headingley and further afield. Start the day off right with a choice of smashed avocado, porridge or the popular breakfast burrito.  If you’ve had a late night don’t panic, breakfast is served until 4pm. Later in the day, choose from a range of sandwiches, wraps or salads. Wash it down with a cappuccino, chai latte or a loose leaf tea, if you’re ready for the night ahead, why not enjoy a beer, wine or Aperol Spritz at Sebbys.

Dare Cafe


Dare Café is a hugely popular spot for the residents of Headingley, serving  delicious food throughout the day with secret bar hidden below, this hot spot really does have it all. Want something a little more exotic than a full English? Dare specialises in Mexican and Italian food of the highest quality and all at affordable prices.  Breakfast, lunch or dinner, Dare is a the Jack of all trades when it comes to cafes. Fika North


Fika North brings a Swedish twist to the café line up in Headingley. Serving specialty coffee, artisan pastries, cakes and even a selection of beer, Fika is one of Headingley coolest hangouts. Assembly Bar & Kitchen


Located at Heart Headingley, Assembly Bar and Kitchen is a café with great spirit, ethos and ofcourse great food! Their menu is filled with a mix of light bites or heartier meals - perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
