The Wizard Express and Evening Scare Train at Bolton Abbey

Manning Stainton

Bolton Abbey is a lovely, picturesque village in the Yorkshire Dales, famous for its stunning landscapes and open fields, so be sure to take in the views on your drive over! Within Bolton Abbey is the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway which is a preserved section of the former Midland Railway route from Skipton to Ilkley. Travel back in time as you settle back in the beautifully restored Victorian and Edwardian carriages and take in the sounds and smells as the steam engine fires up and you depart into the Yorkshire Dales countryside.
