This October half-term you can enjoy the exhibit in an all new, exciting way. You will be joined by expert ghost-hunters and monster-slayers to learn how to slay your favourite movie monsters. Whilst exploring the museum, why not take part in one of the hourly interactive ghost tours, joined by the armouries’ expert Fantasm & Apparition Research Take-down (F.A.R.T) team as they help you identify and remove a ghostly threat from the museum.

Be sure to visit the arena where the live combat demonstrations and performances are not to be missed. Go and watch How to kill a zombie, Battle scene to silver screen, High stakes for Dracula, The curse of the haunted armor and Mummy fight. Here the Royal Armouries team brings the history of the museum’s arsenal to life with demonstrations of their historic weaponry with a fun Halloween twist. This is bound to keep you and the family entertained for the day as the kids get absorbed in the interesting history of the nations weapons and stuck in with the fun activities on offer.

Pre-booking is encouraged as although they allow walk-ins, you may have to queue when the museum is busy so be sure to get your spot booked to avoid a lengthy wait. Amazingly, entrance to the museum is free making this day out a real bargain but feel free to donate whatever you can to show your appreciation.
