Let’s Rock Leeds – Temple Newsam

It’s time to rewind and listen to your throwback playlist of the 80’s this summer with Let’s Rock Leeds. Returning to Temple Newsam, the festival is the biggest retro music festival in the UK and is back in Leeds on the 18th September. Featuring an amazing line up with the likes of Kim Wilde, Sister Sledge, ABC, Tony Hadley and many more, you’re set to be rock and rolling all night. Tickets start at £52.80 and are selling out quick. So, everybody be ready to get up and sing!

Mamma Mia – Harewood House

Experience the heart-warming favourite, Mamma Mia The Musical at Harewood House this August. The musical is being shown for the first time in open air and is set to be a night to remember. Is it really summer without a food and drinks festival? North Leeds Food Festival is a family friendly celebration of street food, local talent and independent bars, and is voted as the number 1 non music festival in the UK. The event is taking place at Roundhay Park and is run across the weekend of 7th August – 8th August. Hosting over 31 cuisines and 8 independent bars, the festival will certainly satisfy your inquisitive taste buds. Tickets are currently on early bird release, starting from as little as £4.98 for day tickets and £7.98 for a weekend ticket, it will be a great day out for you and all the family!

Brutas Gold’s Love Train – Millennium Square

Bump and boogie into disco wonderland at Brutas Gold’s Love Train this summer. Experience all the disco classics from the Bee Gees, Baccara to The Sunshine Band Skool and many more. With live performances from Brutas himself and his amazing team of disco dancers, you’ll be taking your funky self, straight back to the 70’s. The disco ball will be up at Millennium Square to welcome you on the 7th August from 6.30pm until 10.30pm and tickets cost £19.50. So, dress up in your disco outfit, put your funky wig on and start a love train.

Newsam Park Festival – Temple Newsam

Dancing, music and good times, the very three things that draw us to festivals most summers! This 1 day event is extremely popular in Leeds and never disappoints.  The festival showcases techno, house and disco music, so there’s definitely something on line-up for everyone. With sets from Dennis Sulta, Mella Dee and lots of famous DJ’s, it’s a fantastic opportunity to enjoy renowned music right on your doorstep.
