Manning Stainton Aquires Ryder & Dutton and Mortimers Estate Agents
We’ve recently completed the milestone acquisition of one of Lancashire’s best known estate agents, Ryder & Dutton, turning us into one of the largest family owned and operated estate agency groups in the North of England.
Both Manning Stainton and Ryder & Dutton will retain their unique identities and continue to operate as normal, but they will now sit under a new umbrella company called the Northern Estate Agency Group.
The new Group will be headed by Manning Stainton’s managing director, Mark Manning, and will also include Mortimers Estate Agents, which Ryder & Dutton purchased in 2017.
The acquisition demonstrates our absolute confidence in the property market, and means we now operate a 40+ network of branches covering Leeds, Wakefield, Wetherby, Manchester, Derbyshire and other hotspots across West Yorkshire and East Lancashire.
It has also resulted in the expansion of our mortgage business, and we now boast a team of over 30 mortgage advisors who can provide customers with specialist mortgage advice and services. The lettings side of our business has also grown, with over 3,000 properties now being managed by our team.
It’s a really exciting development for us, turning us into a true Northern property powerhouse and enabling us to continue Helping People Move, in even more areas across the North.
