Big changes are coming! Starting 14th May 2025, new sanctions checks will be mandatory for all tenants and related parties before you sign or renew any tenancy agreements.
What are Sanctions Checks?
These checks ensure that your tenants, guarantors, and any other individuals involved in the tenancy are not listed on official financial sanctions lists. This includes individuals or entities linked to illegal activities, such as money laundering or terrorism.
For Our Managed Service Clients:
Relax – we have got you covered! We will handle all the sanctions checks for you, ensuring everything is smooth and compliant. No extra work on your part!
For Non-Managed Landlords:
You will need to take care of these checks yourselves to avoid any potential penalties down the line.
