LS6 Cafe - Hyde Park
As the name suggests, LS6 is situated in the popular student area of Hyde Park and popular it is. Ls6 holds it name as one of the best breakfasts in Leeds. Offering tasty breakfast classics or lighter lunch options including wraps and sandwiches it’s easy to see why LS6 is so popular. Alongside its winning food, the café prides itself on its community vibe encouraging individualism and expression. Its funky interior only adds to the experience and if you’re not suffering from the night before why not make it a boozy brunch, with a choice of their classic cocktails, beers or bubbles. If you can’t quite face it yet, we highly recommend one of their many shakes and not to leave anyone out vegan shakes are also available!
Laynes - Leeds City Centre
You may have seen the Laynes name pop up everywhere and quite rightly so. Laynes, situated on New station Road has made a name for itself over the years with their delicious menu and excellent coffee. Laynes understands the fast pace of the city offering brunch options from 7am- 2pm on weekdays and 9am-4pm on Weekends, they serve everything from Porridge to a Full English cooked the Laynes way. Laynes go that bit further putting their own stamp on the traditional brunch style menu, If you haven’t tried Shakshuka yet we recommend Laynes is the place to do so. Of course everything should be washed down with one of Laynes famous Coffees’!

Whether you’re a dedicated vegan or just looking for hearty brunch, The Greenhouse on Horsforth Towns Street is definitely worth a stop. They offer a full menu all day long, whether you’re in the mood for something sweet or savoury The Greenhouse will definitely have something to satisfy. With their new spring menu in full flow we highly recommend their Recovery Bowl; its combination of mixed leaves, avocado, mango salsa and pan fried vegetables will do exactly what the name suggests and help you recover, whatever it may be from. If you fancy something a little more carby try their Garlic mushrooms served on sourdough, or their famous Fluffy pancake stack, we’re sure you won’t be disappointed. The Greenhouses concept of serving delicious food, that happens to be vegan is what makes them a winner.
