We’ve saved the spookiest half-term event till last with the Grade I listed Temple Newsam being host to Halloween Hauntings this October half-term. Temple Newsam is one of the finest historic houses in Leeds, complete with over 40 rooms and over 1,500 acres of woodland, parkland and gardens, this house really is impressive. Take in the history of the building as you wander through the magnificently designed halls and grounds and enjoy the stunning architecture on offer. Get in the spirit and get the family dressed up in their scariest outfits, as you make your way through the estate be sure to keep an eye out for the Blue Lady!

Once you’re sufficiently spooked why not head to the Temple Newsam Tearooms to enjoy a drink or a bite to eat with a range of tasty refreshments on offer including hot and cold drinks, brunch, hot food, sandwiches, cakes and pastries. Also, make your way across the cobbles to the onsite gift shop for a range of souvenirs to help remember your trip.
