Kindred Spirit – Albion Court
If it’s a stunning terrace you’re after, then Kindred Spirit on Albion Court is not one to be missed. The bar offers comfy outdoor seating, which is perfect for soaking up summer rays, whilst sipping on one of their amazing cocktails. If cocktails aren’t your thing, not to worry, there is also a wide range of good craft beers, wines and much more, so you won’t be short of choice. The bar certainly creates a buzz within the city, so it’s no surprise that we think it’s one of the best outdoor seating areas in Wakefield!
The Black Horse – Westgate
Situated on Westgate in the heart of Wakefield, the Black Horse is a great place to go for an overdue drink after lockdown. Known for their great selection of ales and unique range of cocktails, there’s something on the menu for everyone to kick back and relax with in their beer garden. If this hasn’t tempted you already, then the pizza definitely will; handmade and rolled in house, you certainly don’t need to travel for your Italian fix. So, if you feel like some good food and a cold one with your friends, then don’t wait to book!
The Hop – Bank Street
Famous for its live music events and being popular amongst the locals, The Hop is the place to be after lockdown. Although a popular bar, The Hop has stuck to its brewing roots, serving up a vast range of cask ales, traditional craft beer and quality wine. With a fantastic beer garden on offer and a giant gazebo to keep you dry, you certainly need to come here for a visit!
Supper Club – Silver Street
The Supper Club is a quirky bar, that sits tucked away on Silver Street. Welcoming you back to sit in their outdoor terrace, you can relax outside with one of their many gins or beer, whilst having a natter with your friends. If you’re feeling a little peckish, you can order one of their famous pizzas to enjoy on the side, how could you resist?
Qubana – Wood Street
No need for a flight, a drink in Qubana will make you feel like you’re a world away in Cuba. The bar has a lovely outside terrace area where you can sit and enjoy some authentic Spanish tapas, whilst sipping on one of their signature gin and tonics. So, if you want to enjoy that well deserved drink on a sunny day, then you won’t be disappointed heading to Qubana!
The Pledwick - Newmillerdam
Located on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Newmillerdam, The Pledwick is an independent pub with an excellent beer garden. Situated next to a fantastic riverside location, you can relax outside with a nice beverage, whilst taking in the beautiful scenery.
