As we know, the Governments easing of lockdown restrictions will see beer gardens open on the 12th April. So, we thought we would give you a guide to some of our favourite beer gardens in Leeds. Whether it be a rooftop bar, riverside views or a traditional beer garden, there is something for everyone!
Banyan - Roundhay
Located on Street Lane in the heart of Roundhay, Banyan is
extremely popular with the locals. Set to open on the 12th April,
Banyan has a fantastic outdoor seating area that is sure to satisfy that
post lockdown feeling. The bar has a great range of cocktails, pale
ales, craft beers, wine and much more, and their food is scrummy too!
So, if you’re wanting a cold one with your friends, be sure to get a
table booked.
Beck and Call - Meanwood
The stunning beer garden is a quirky outdoor space, and
this venue sits under the umbrella of Headrow House and the Belgrave
Music Hall, which are firm favourites in Leeds. Creating its own buzz
within Meanwood, it’s no surprise that it is up there with one of the
best beer gardens in Leeds!
Belgrave Music Hall and Canteen – City Centre
Did someone say rooftop bar? If they did it’s definitely Belgrave! With plenty of seating, views across the city, mouth-watering pizza and even rooftop DJ’s, Belgrave is a must for post lockdown drinks. Serving amazing cask ales and premium cask beers, as well as frozen cocktails and much more, how could you not get yourself down to Belgrave from the 12th April!
Waterlane Boat House – Canal Wharfe
Sitting on the waterfront of Leeds Canal, Waterlane Boat House does not disappoint, especially when it comes to a beer garden. Welcoming you back from the 12th April, you can relax outside with one of their many gins or beer, while soaking in the beautiful scenery. If you’re feeling a little peckish, you can try one of their famous pizzas to enjoy on the side!
Headrow House – The Headrow
The ‘little sister’ of Belgrave Music Hall, Headrow House is a hidden gem. Tucked away on the famous Headrow in Leeds city centre, the bar boasts 2 roof terraces, both overlooking the city. selection of drinks. If you want to enjoy a drink on a sunny day, you

The Original Oak – Headingley
A favourite amongst young professionals and sports fans, the Original Oak has been a Hallmark of Headingley for a long time.
