2022 Community Round Up
At Manning Stainton we are Community Driven and supporting our communities is a major focus of our business. In 2022, we were proud to support over 100 local events, charities, schools and organisations. Throughout the year, we donated a significant amount of £85,000 to various groups as part of our ongoing commitment to give back to the communities in which we operate. From participating in local school fayres to supporting sports teams, we were thrilled to be a part of so many meaningful causes.
Some of the year’s highlights included Wetherby 10k, Yeadon Carnival and our Macmillan Coffee Morning. We also supported numerous schools, including Horsforth St Margaret’s, Kerrmackie Primary School and St Bartholomew’s Primary School. We also donated money to help other organisations including Horsforth’s Walk Of Art, 7th AFG Annual Diwali Gala and Calverley Horticultural Society.
Wetherby 10k
In September we took part in Wetherby 10k as a main sponsor! Our Wetherby branch and some of our Marketing team attended to show their support and run an activity stall and Scavenger hunt!
Christmas Card Competition
Before Christmas we ran a competition for our 2022 Christmas Card for primary school children to take part in. The winners won prizes for both themselves and the school! 1st Place got a £150 Symths Toy Voucher and £250 towards the school. 2nd place got £50 Symths Toy Voucher and £150 towards the school, and finally 3rd place got £50 Symths voucher and £75 towards the school!
St Barts Big Bus Project
Our Wortley branch donated tablets and kindles to St Bartholomews Primary School for their big bus project. They converted the bus into a library for the kids to play on during break times.
Diwali Gala
We sponsored local organisations such as AllFriendsGroup in their annual Diwali Gala! Our teams from North Leeds Lettings, Leeds Fine & Country and our Moortown Office joined in at the event.
St Margaret's FC
Our Horsforth team sponsored St Margarets Football Club's kit for the new season! Branch Coordinator Simone headed down to see the team in action.
Wigton FC
Another football team we supported is Wigton U15's. Marianne, our Branch Manager from Moortown headed down to see them play the first game of the season.
